CUSTOM PRODUCTS
Plastics One Inc. designs,develops, manufactures
and markets a variety of highly specialized medical and audio cables and connectors, as well as in-vivo
neuroscience research components. We are also specialists in custom design, tooling and plastic injection
molding, creating a company that embodies teamwork and diversity! Products built to your specifications
is clearly our specialty. We offer an extensive line of connectors and leadwires that can be configured in
nearly any arrangement you require.
Our R&D engineers and Sales staff are available to assist you with
defining a product design to meet your requirements. We can start with just a sketch or work with drawings.
If necessary, we can provide an off-the-shelve sample or we can create a functional prototype cord for your
testing and evaluation.
It is important that you are aware that only our most popular connectors and lead
wires are featured here. We have many, many other designs not showcased on our web site. We continue to add
to our site daily, so if you do not see a product that meets your needs, please contact us so we can
determine if tooling already exists.

TYPICAL CABLE ASSEMBLY
The cable shown left demonstrates a typical medical cable assembly.
The product shown uses our 1.5mm TouchProof (441, or 881 with logo) terminated to a 456 needle
electrode. For this example, the Plastic's One part number would be 441456EPT048001.
- The first three digits are the first end connector; the next 3 digits specify the second end.
- The next 3 digits (7 through 9) specify the wire type, in this cse EPT (green colored wire for the PT series.)
- Digits 10 through 12 specify wire length in inches.
- The last three characters specify version, normally it is the default -001l. In some versions the molding
(connector) color may not match the wire color, so these digits can be used to specify the exact version.

PRODUCT RANGE
In this group photograph, nearly all of the products shown have both molded and assembled connectors.
The three assemblies on the bottom left (and upper right) have Plastics One's owned connectors on one end,
with assembled connectors on the other end. However, the part shown on the upper left used a
connector overmold build specifically for the customer (see our Custom Connector page). The final cable
shown in the bottom right is a fully assembled RF connector.
Connectors featured in this group are Plastic’s One parts 460 (DC power plug), 531 (9-pin D connector),
499 (overmolded Hirose) and 916 (overmolded Lemo RF connector).
