As the demand for smaller medical devices increases so has the demand
for smaller medical connectors. These smaller connectors have the same
basic specifications as the larger connectors but with reduced pin and
housing dimensions. The mini-DIN connectors are keyed to prevent
mismatching. The shape
of the connector and the placement of the pins ensure that it will
only fit one way, making field use almost foolproof.
The wire type, size and jacket material can be selected to suit the
application. The Plastics One mini-DIN
is available in three to eight
pin positions and 15 color choices.
