Can you give me a ballpark quote on the mold and part price per my description over the phone?

Can you give me a ballpark quote on the mold and part price from my description over the phone?
We don't like to quote pricing without seeing a prototype part, sketch or print first so that we can give the most accurate price.

If I only need 250 parts, is that something you do?
POI is a custom molder. We do small production runs as little as 10 parts and up to 1,000,000 or more.

How long does it take to build the mold?
Most of our molds average about 8 weeks to build depending on capacity at the time of purchase order placement. We have built molds in 2 -3 weeks and some take as long as 20 weeks or longer depending on the part geometry and number of cavities.

How long after mold completion until I receive my parts?
After the initial mold sampling, the parts are measured and sent to our customer for evaluation. Then, after customer approval is received, there is typically a one-week lead-time for production parts.

Do you have in house design capabilities?
Yes, POI operates our own in house design-engineering group and tooling operations. For more information, please see Molding.
