MRI Enhancing Cannula Plastics One is trying to determine the market for an expansion in our MRI compatible components. One particular point of focus is a MRI enhancing cannula. The project entails using our existing PEEK guide cannulas with either an imaging agent (i.e. coating) or embedded with nano particles. This cannula would be visible in a MRI magnetic field but not distort the image surrounding it. The enhanced cannula would be used to depict the location of the cannula on the MRI scan so that visual changes can be monitored.
