Plastics One, Inc. was honored on October 4, 2005 when it was selected as Small Business of the Year by the Roanoke Chamber of Commerce. We were chosen from 65 companies which were nominated by area business leaders. Plastics One, in business since 1949, has evolved from simply making a more durable hearing aid cord to becoming a high tech manufacturer of medical device components. The company has adapted to global competition and an era of outsourcing by operating more efficiently, economically and by strategically adjusting product lines. This award was especially gratifying to the more than 200 employee/owners in acknowledgement of their loyalty and hard work.
