Microdialysis Probe

Catalog Microdialysis Probe
The guide cannula, dummy and probe are each sold separately. We will custom cut each component for your model.
All probe connectors are spring covered.
The probe will mate with our 21ga guide and corresponding cannula dummy.

Please note the form and chart below. The form allows you to choose the specifications to custom build a probe.

We do not recommend re-use of these probes.

HOW TO CUSTOM BUILD YOUR MICRODIALYSIS PROBE ASSEMBLY

1)First, choose a membrane pore size:

2)Last, we will need lengths for ALL the following variables: (please see diagram above)
A- Length of membrane below injector tip (mm)
        minimum =2mm  maximum =5mm  including 0.5mm glue at tip
B- Length of guide below pedestal (mm)
C- 5MM or 8MM pedestal (guide)


CONNECTOR END:

D- Length of PE 20 connector tubing & fused silica (centimeters)
     from swivel to guide
(PE & FS minimum length=20cm)

E- Dummy wire projection beyond guide tube (mm)

*Q-factor is the ration between membrane surface area and volume.
The Q-factor should be as high as possible for maximum efficiency
