A high quality substitute bonding agent for dental cement.
Space filling adhesive formulated to bond screws and plastic to bone. This new two part mixture ( Cerebond ), provides a quick setting, odorless, reliable and permanent adhesion when mounting our cannulas and electrodes. There are also no concerns with hazardous material shipping which is not the case with the methacrylate dental cement.
Two part mixture comes in 50 ml packages and is sufficient for approximately 10 cannula implants. Mixing tubes blend the solutions together and dispense in a cone around the pedestal of the guide or electrode.
Cures to hold in one minute, full cure to maximum hardness in 5 minutes.
Will not irritate exposed tissue in either the cured or uncured form.
Adheres strongly to both stainless steel or plastic and skull bone.
Available as a "starter kit" with an applicator gun included - a reuseable applicator for forcing Cerebond into the mixer tubes and conveniently applying to the skull.
CERE-KIT (Cerebond™ Starter Kit)- This package includes the reusable applicator, one 50 ml package of Cerebond Skull Fixture Adhesive (which includes 10 mixer tubes) and 10 extra mixer tubes. Simply insert the adhesive package into the applicator, remove the cap, and install a mixing tube (press in and rotate under the tabs).
CERE-AD - Contains adhesive and 10 mixing tubes, and is good for approximately 10
applications,
requiring 10 mixing tubes.
CERE-TUB - The extra tubes will serve if 11 or 12 applications are possible given the volume used.
Note!Unlike some epoxies and other two part compounds, Cerebond is extremely sensitive to correct ratio and full mixing. It will not work if the mixing tubes are not used. Each package of adhesive contains both parts, and is good for approximately 10 applications, requiring 10 mixing tubes. |
